Among The Threads A Workshop Weaving Palestinian Tatreez, Heritage & Art Therapy I بين الخيوط: ورشة تجمع التطريز والتراث الفلسطيني مع العلاج بالفن

ورشة تعريفية بالتطريز الفلسطيني (الغرزة الفلاحية)، نستكشف خلالها تاريخه، ورموزه، وأنماطه الإقليمية، وأبعاده العلاجية.

سيتعرّف المشاركون على التطريز الفلسطيني كتقليد حي ووسيلة لسرد الحكايات، يحمل الهوية والذاكرة الفلسطينية عبر الأجيال.

تتضمن الورشة أنشطة جماعية للتأمل والتواصل، يليها عرض عملي لطريقتين لتنفيذ الغرزة الفلاحية، ثم جلسة تطريز عملية يطبّق خلالها المشاركون ما تعلّموه لتنفيذ زخرفة فلسطينية من اختيارهم.

يغادر المشاركون بتقدير أعمق للتراث الفلسطيني، ومهارة جديدة، وقطعة مطرزة بأيديهم.

لا تتطلب الورشة أي خبرة سابقة في التطريز.

أهداف الورشة والنتائج المتوقعة

تقديم مقدمة شاملة عن فن التطريز الفلسطيني، تتناول تاريخه، وأهميته الثقافية، ورموزه، والشكلين التقليديين للتطريز الفلسطيني، والأنماط المرتبطة بالمناطق المختلفة، والزخارف التقليدية، وذلك من خلال القصص والأمثلة البصرية.

التعرّف على التطريز الفلسطيني باعتباره وسيلة لسرد القصص وحفظ الهوية والذاكرة والتراث الفلسطيني.

التعرّف على الخامات والأدوات التقليدية، وتعلّم طريقتين لتنفيذ الغرزة الفلاحية المتقاطعة، من خلال عروض فيديو وتطبيقات حية.

استكشاف الجوانب العلاجية المرتبطة بفن التطريز، وكيف يمكن لعملية التطريز أن تخلق مساحة للتأمل، والتواصل، والدعم النفسي.

المشاركة في تمارين تأملية موجهة مستوحاة من العلاج بالفن، بهدف استكشاف المعاني الشخصية، والتعبير عن الذات، وتعزيز التواصل مع المجموعة.

الحصول على قائمة مختارة من المصادر التي تساعد المشاركين على مواصلة التعرّف على التطريز الفلسطيني، وتاريخه، وتقنيات التطريز الأكثر تقدماً.

تنفيذ زخرفة تطريزية خاصة بالمشارك خلال جلسة تطبيقية موجهة وعملية.

الخروج بفهم وتقدير أعمق للتراث الثقافي الفلسطيني، واكتساب مهارة إبداعية جديدة، إلى جانب قطعة مطرزة يدوية يحتفظ بها المشارك.

العمر: 15 سنة فما فوق
مستوى الخبرة: للمبتدئين، ولا يشترط وجود خبرة سابقة في التطريز.
مناسبة لكل من لديه اهتمام بالتراث الفلسطيني، والمنسوجات، وفن التطريز.

 أسلوب الورشة ومحاورها

الترحيب والتعارف: مقدمة قصيرة من الميسّرات، يتبعها تعارف المشاركين ومشاركة بسيطة حول أسباب اهتمامهم بالورشة.

العرض والنقاش:

مقدمة عن التطريز الفلسطيني تشمل تاريخه، ورموزه، والأنماط الخاصة بالمناطق المختلفة، وأهميته الثقافية، مدعومة بأمثلة بصرية ونقاش تفاعلي.

مقدمة حول التطريز كأداة علاجية، واستكشاف الإمكانات الإبداعية والعلاجية التي يمكن أن تنشأ من عملية التطريز والقطعة النهائية، يتبعها نشاط تأملي مستوحى من العلاج بالفن.

الخامات والعرض التطبيقي: التعريف بأدوات وخامات الورشة، يتبعه عرض تطبيقي حي لطرق تنفيذ الغرزة الفلاحية المتقاطعة.

التطبيق العملي للتطريز: يقوم المشاركون بتنفيذ زخرفتهم المطرزة الخاصة، مع تقديم التوجيه الفردي والدعم المباشر لكل مشارك طوال الجلسة.

التأمل الختامي: مشاركة الأعمال المنجزة، والإجابة عن الأسئلة الختامية، وتزويد المشاركين بمصادر تساعدهم على مواصلة التعلم والاستكشاف.

وفاء أبوسعدة

 فنانة فلسطينية متعددة الوسائط ومصممة بصرية، تستكشف الذاكرة والهوية والخيال من خلال السرد البصري. تمزج في ممارستها بين الأساليب التقليدية والرقمية، وتستكشف التطريز الفلسطيني كحرفة وإرث ثقافي ومساحة للبحث البصري، وتسعى من خلاله إلى مشاركة الثقافة الفلسطينية والحفاظ على إرثها.

جود إبراهيم

معالجة بالفن و فنانة تشكيلية ومعلّمة فنون. يستكشف عملها الفني موضوعات الحفاظ على الهوية والذاكرة وتراثها وثقافتها الفلسطينية. وإلى جانب ممارستها الفنية، تهتم جود بدمج العلاج بالفن في المساحات العلاجية والاجتماعية، واستخدام الفن كوسيلة للتعبير، وسرد القصص، واكتشاف الذات.

Workshop Description

Join us for an immersive introduction to Palestinian Tatreez; exploring its history, symbolism, regional motifs, and therapeutic potential.

Discover Tatreez as a living tradition and a form of storytelling that carries Palestinian identity, memory, and collective healing through generations.

The workshop includes reflective art therapy activities and demonstrations of two methods of Fallahi Cross-Stitch, followed by a hands-on Tatreez session where you’ll embroider a Palestinian motif of your choice.

Leave with a deeper connection to Palestinian heritage, a new skill, and a handmade piece of your own.

No previous embroidery experience is needed.

Learning Objectives / Intended Outcomes
   

• A comprehensive introduction to Palestinian embroidery, exploring its history, cultural significance, symbolism, the two traditional forms of Palestinian embroidery, regional styles, and traditional motifs through stories and visual examples.

• Discover tatreez as a form of storytelling that preserves Palestinian identity, memory, and heritage.

• Learn about traditional materials, tools, and two methods of stitching the Fallahi Cross-Stitch, with video & live demonstrations

• Explore the therapeutic roots of Tatreez and how the process of stitching can create space for reflection, connection, and healing.

• Engage in guided art therapy reflections to explore personal meaning, self-expression, and connection to the group.

• Receive a curated list of resources to continue exploring Palestinian Tatreez, its history, and advanced stitching techniques.

• Create your own embroidered motif during a guided, hands-on stitching session.

• Leave with a deeper appreciation of Palestinian cultural heritage, a new creative skill, and a handmade piece to take home.

Workshop Format & Structure

• Welcome & Introductions: Brief introduction by the facilitators, followed by participant introductions and a short check-in about their interest in the workshop.

• Presentation & Discussion: 

• An introduction to Palestinian tatreez, its history, symbolism, regional styles, and cultural significance, supported by visual examples and discussion.

• An introduction to tareez as therapy, and the creative healing potentials found in the process and final product, followed by a reflective and art therapy activity.

• Materials & Demonstration: Introduction to the workshop toolkit, followed by a live demonstration of the Fallahi Cross-Stitch techniques.

• Hands-on Stitching: Participants create their own embroidered motif with one-to-one guidance and individual support throughout the session.

• Closing Reflection: Sharing completed work, addressing final questions, and providing resources for continued learning.

Target Audience

Age: 15+ 

Experience level: Beginners; no prior embroidery experience required.

For anyone interested in Palestinian heritage, textiles, or embroidery.

 

About the Facilitators

Wafaa Abu Saadah

is a Palestinian multidisciplinary artist and visual designer exploring memory, identity, and imagination through visual storytelling. Her practice combines traditional and digital processes, and explores Palestinian Tatreez as a craft, cultural heritage, and form of visual research. Through Tatreez, she seeks to share Palestinian culture and preserve its heritage.

Jude Ibrahim

is an art therapist, visual artist, and art educator. Her artistic work explores themes of identity preservation, memory, and her Palestinian heritage and culture. Alongside her artistic practice, Jude is passionate about integrating art therapy in clinical and community spaces, creating opportunities for visual storytelling, reconnection, and healing.
