تهدف الورشة إلى تمكين المشاركين من تعلم أساسيات التعامل مع القشرة الخشبية، ابتداءً من اختيار الأنماط الهندسية الإسلامية وتكويناتها النجمية، مرورًا بتقنيات القصّ الدقيقة وتركيب القشرة، وصولًا إلى إضافة اللمسات النهائية التي تُبرز جماليات العمل.

الأهداف والمخرجات:

• تجربة تعليمية عملية غنية في فن قشرة الخشب بالقشرة.
• تعميق التقدير لجماليات الفن الإسلامي وتطبيقه بأسلوب بسيط ومتاح.
• إتقان الأساسيات وتطوير مهارات القصّ الدقيقة وتثبيت القشرة.
• إضافة التفاصيل النهائية لابتكار قطعة فنية متكاملة.

دلال باقبص مصممة سعودية من جدة، وحرفية متخصصة في التصميم الداخلي وتصميم الأثاث. صقلت شغفها بالفنون التقليدية عبر دراسة الحرف والفنون اليدوية في جدة التاريخية، مما أكسبها فهمًا عميقًا للتراث الحجازي.تركّز أعمالها وورشها التدريبية على إحياء التراث الحجازي من خلال الجمع بين الحرف التقليدية والتقنيات المعاصرة لتقديم تصاميم تعبّر عن الأصالة بروح حديثة.قدمت دلال عددًا من الورش في بينالي الفنون الإسلامية بجدة، وهي حاصلة على رخصة ممارس حرفي تضمن تقديم ورشها وفق أعلى المعايير المهنية.

Join us for the Wood Veneer Marquetry Workshop with Dalal Baqabsah 
an immersive artistic experience inspired by the beauty of Islamic star patterns, one of the most iconic elements in Islamic art and architecture.

This workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of working with wood veneer from selecting Islamic geometric designs and composing star motifs, to mastering precise cutting and layering techniques, and finally applying finishing touches that highlight the beauty of the craft.

Learning outcomes:

• A rich hands-on learning experience in the art of wood veneer marquetry.
• A deeper appreciation for Islamic art and its application in an accessible way.
• Mastery of the basics: cutting, assembling, and refining veneer with precision.
• Creating a complete decorative piece that reflects both craft and design.

About Dalal Baqabsah:
Dalal Baqabsah is a Saudi designer and craft practitioner from Jeddah, specializing in interior and furniture design. She developed her passion for traditional arts through studying crafts and heritage in Historic Jeddah, gaining a deep understanding of Hijazi culture.
Her work and workshops focus on reviving Hijazi heritage by blending traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create designs that embody authenticity with a contemporary spirit.
Dalal has led several workshops at the Islamic Arts Biennale in Jeddah, and holds a Craft Practitioner License, ensuring the highest professional standards in her workshops.
