Sarah Taibah
Intro:
Step into the inner world of Sarah Taibah — a storyteller of the soul. Born in Jeddah in 1989, Sarah is an illustrator, writer, actress, and performer who brings raw emotion to life through ink, word, and image. With an MFA in Illustration and Printmaking from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, she founded her studio Rasma & Kilma as a space for honest, heartfelt expression. Her work is a diary, a confessional, a mirror — exploring relationships, intimacy, and the quiet truths we often leave unsaid.
Mirsal: Unsent Letters
“They were never sent, but they were never silent.”
In Mirsal, Sarah Taibah gathers heartbreak — not her own, but that of strangers across the globe. Through anonymous, unsent letters written from cities like Jeddah, Barcelona, Al Khartoum, and Kuala Lumpur, Mirsal becomes a collective journal of loss, longing, and the universal voice that seeks closure. Each letter transforms into an illustration — turning pain into visual poetry. This book is a home for the unloved words, the endings with no reply, and the tender ache of being human.
