ورشة تعريفية بالتطريز الفلسطيني )الغرزة الفالحية(، تستعرض تاريخه، وأهميته الثقافية، ورموزه، وأنماطه الإقليمية،و زخارفه التقليدية من خالل القصص واألمثلة البصرية. سيتع ّرف المشاركون على التطريز الفلسطيني بوصفه تقليًدا حًيا ووسيلة لسرد الحكايات وحفظ الهوية والذاكرة والتراث الفلسطين

تتضمن الورشة التعرف على الخامات واألدوات التقليدية، وعرض عملي لطريقتين لتنفيذ الغرزة الفالحية، تليه ، جلسة تطبيقية بإرشاد مباشر ينفذ خاللها المشاركون إحدى الزخارف الفلسطينية التقليدية على القماش. كما سيحصل المشاركون على قائمة مختارة من المصادر لمواصلة استكشاف التطريز الفلسطيني، وتاريخه، وتقنيات التطريز المتقدمة، ليغادروا الورشة بتقدير أعمق للتراث الفلسطيني، ومهارة جديدة، وقطعة مطرزة بأيديهم

أهداف الورشة والنتائج المتوقعة

 التعرّف بشكل شامل على فن التطريز الفلسطيني، من خلال استكشاف تاريخه، ودلالاته الثقافية، ورموزه، وأشكاله التقليدية، وأساليبه المختلفة بين المناطق، إلى جانب أبرز الزخارف والنقوش التراثية، من خلال القصص والأمثلة البصرية

 اكتشاف التطريز الفلسطيني بوصفه وسيلة لحفظ الحكايات والذاكرة والهوية والتراث الفلسطيني

 التعرّف على الأدوات والخامات التقليدية المستخدمة، وتعلّم طريقتين لتنفيذ غرزة الصليب الفلاحي

 الحصول على قائمة مختارة من المصادر التي تساعد المشاركين على مواصلة التعرّف على التطريز الفلسطيني، وتاريخه، وتقنيات التطريز المتقدمة

 مشاهدة تطبيق حي لطريقة تطريز إحدى الزخارف الفلسطينية التقليدية

 تنفيذ زخرفة مطرزة خاصة بكل مشارك، خلال جلسة عملية موجهة خطوة بخطوة

 أسلوب الورشة ومحاورها

الترحيب والتعارف:
تبدأ الورشة بتعريف مختصر من مقدّمة الورشة، يتبعه تعارف بسيط بين المشاركين وحديث قصير حول اهتمامهم بالورشة.

العرض والنقاش:
مقدمة عن التطريز الفلسطيني، وتاريخه، ورموزه، وأساليبه المختلفة بين المناطق، وأهميته الثقافية، من خلال عرض بصري ونقاش تفاعلي.

التعرّف على الأدوات والتطبيق الحي:
التعرّف على محتويات حقيبة الورشة والأدوات المستخدمة، يتبعه تطبيق حي لتقنيات غرزة الصليب الفلاحي.

التطبيق العملي:
ينفّذ كل مشارك زخرفته المطرزة الخاصة، مع التوجيه والدعم الفردي طوال فترة التطبيق.

الختام والتأمل:
مشاركة الأعمال المنجزة، والإجابة عن الأسئلة الأخيرة، وتزويد المشاركين بمصادر تساعدهم على مواصلة التعلّم والاستكشاف.

وفاء أبوسعدة فنانة متعددة التخصصات ومصممة بصرية مقيمة في جدة، تمتد ممارستها الفنية عبر وسائط إبداعية متنوعة،حيث تستكشف الذاكرة، والمخّيلة، والهوية من خالل السرد البصري. امت ًدادا من جذورها الفلسطينية ونشأتها متعددة الثقافات
تمزج بين األساليب التقليدية والرقمية إلنتاج أعمال بصرية تعكس األبعاد العاطفية لتجاربنا اإلنسانية
إلى جانب ممارستها الفنية، تمارس وفاء التطريز الفلسطيني بوصفه حرفة شخصية ومساحة للبحث الثقافي. ومن خلال التطريز وأعمال رقمية تجريبية تمزج بين التطريز الفلسطيني والتصوير الفوتوغرافي، تستكشف رموزه، وحكاياته، وإرثه الثقافي والتاريخي، في محاولة للحفاظ على الذاكرة الجمعية وإعادة قراءتها بصرًي

 

Workshop Description
An introduction to Palestinian tatreez (traditional Fallahi Cross-Stitch embroidery),
exploring its history, cultural significance, symbolism, regional styles, and traditional
motifs through stories and visual examples. Participants will discover tatreez as a living
tradition and a form of storytelling that preserves Palestinian identity, memory, and
heritage.
The workshop includes an introduction to traditional materials and tools, a live
demonstration of two methods of stitching the Fallahi Cross-Stitch, and a guided
hands-on session where participants will create their own embroidered Palestinian
motif. Participants will also receive a curated list of resources to continue exploring
Palestinian tatreez, its history, and advanced stitching techniques, leaving with a deeper
appreciation of Palestinian cultural heritage, a new creative skill, and a handmade piece
to take home.

 A comprehensive introduction to Palestinian embroidery, exploring its history,
cultural significance, symbolism, the two traditional forms of Palestinian
embroidery, regional styles, and traditional motifs through stories and visual
examples.

   Learn about traditional materials, tools, and two methods of stitching the Fallahi
Cross-Stitch.
   

 Receive a curated list of resources to continue exploring Palestinian Tatreez, its
history, and advanced stitching techniques.
     Watch a live demonstration of stitching a traditional Palestinian motif.
   

   Create your own embroidered motif during a guided, hands-on stitching session.

     Leave with a deeper appreciation of Palestinian cultural heritage, a new creative
skill, and a handmade piece to take home.

Workshop Format & Structure

- Welcome & Introductions: Brief introduction by the facilitator, followed by participant
introductions and a short check-in about their interest in the workshop.
- Presentation & Discussion: An introduction to Palestinian tatreez, its history,
symbolism, regional styles, and cultural significance, supported by visual examples and
discussion.
- Materials & Demonstration: Introduction to the workshop toolkit, followed by a live
demonstration of the Fallahi Cross-Stitch techniques.
- Hands-on Stitching: Participants create their own embroidered motif with one-to-one
guidance and individual support throughout the session.
- Closing Reflection: Sharing completed work, addressing final questions, and providing
resources for continued learning.

Target Audience
Age: 12+
Experience level: Beginners; no prior embroidery experience required.
For anyone interested in Palestinian heritage, textiles, or embroidery.

About the Facilitator
Wafaa Abu Saadah is a Jeddah-based multidisciplinary artist and visual designer whose
practice spans multiple mediums, exploring memory, imagination, and identity through visual storytelling. Shaped by her Palestinian roots and multicultural upbringing, she blends traditional and digital processes to create visual narratives that reflect the emotional dimensions of our lived experiences.

Alongside her artistic practice, Wafaa engages with Palestinian tatreez as both a personal craft and a form of cultural research. Through embroidery and experimental digital works that merge tatreez with photography, she explores its symbolism, stories, and historical significance while preserving and reinterpreting collective memory.
