The Secret Life of Objects

The most enduring existential question is: Who am I?
And the most common piece of advice? Be yourself.

But what if the self is not a single voice, but a collection of fragmented parts? Some of these parts grow quiet, losing their ability to communicate and retreating into silence. Others speak loudly, becoming dominant.

In this metaphorical space, we will explore these fragments of the self using objects, novels, and photographs. Through this creative inquiry, we ask:

Which part of yourself feels most familiar? And which one feels estranged?

Expressive Artist and Psychologist. With an MA in Psychology from Columbia University and Training in Creative Arts in Supervision from University of London, Lujain’s work revolves around practicing authentic expression guided by psychodynamic techniques. Using art, movement, and drama therapy, she facilitates supervision sessions for performers, artists, and therapists.

لكن ماذا لو أن الذات ليست صوتًا واحدًا، بل مجموعة من الأجزاء المتفرقة؟
بعض هذه الأجزاء تفقد صوتها، وتنعزل في صمتها. وأجزاء أخرى تصبح صاخبة ومهيمنة.

في هذا العالم المجازي، سنغوص في أعماق الذات من خلال الموجودات، والروايات، والصور.
سنطرح أسئلة تأملية:

أي جزء من ذاتك هو الأقرب إليك؟ وأي جزء يشعر بالغربة؟

فنانة تعبيرية وأخصائية نفسية. حاصلة على ماجستير في علم النفس من جامعة كولومبيا، وتدريب في الفنون الإبداعية تحت إشراف جامعة لندن. يتمحور عمل لجين حول ممارسة التعبير الأصيل، مستندًا إلى تقنيات نفسية ديناميكية. من خلال استخدام الفن، والحركة، والعلاج بالدراما، تُقدم جلسات للمؤدين، والفنانين، والمعالجين.
